1500 - 6th St NE, at the corner of 5th & 15th streets in the former Holland school building. Call 612-788-2444.
Monday, Wednesday and Friday 10am to Noon; Tuesday nights 6:00pm to 7:30pm; and Thursdays by appointment. 
No ID or proofs required; no restrictions by zip code.

Little Kitchen NEEDS YOUR HELP!

Demand at our food shelf continues to increase monthly. Your donations of food and funds are always welcome!

We need: basic canned goods, frozen meat, bread, fruit, hygiene supplies, toilet paper, household cleaners, baking items, cereal, baby formula, peanut butter n jelly, tuna, pasta sauce, diapers and fresh produce.

Gardening Matters partnering with Little Kitchen Food Shelf on "Gleaning Project": Join the community in sharing your bountiful harvest! The garden gleaning project is working to get nutritious, fresh, and healthy produce from our gardens and fruit trees to those who are unable to afford and access fresh produce. News HERE

Pet Food Assistance
NEC's "Little Kitchen" Food Shelf has access to pet food for people with pets in need. Please visit during food shelf walk-in hours: Monday, Wednesday and Friday 10am to Noon. 1500 6th St NE, Mpls 55413.
 
Spay/Neuter Assistance: Overpopulation and unnecessary breeding are a major problem in the Twin Cities metro area. We partner with Kindest Cut, a program of the Animal Humane Society, to offer low-cost spay/neuter services to qualifying pet owners. Kindest Cut visits our site in Northeast Minneapolis twice each month, on Fridays. Companion Animal Ministry:

Our Low-Cost Vaccine Clinic for Dogs & Cats was held on Saturday, October 29, 2011.  Another clinic will be scheduled in Spring 2012 - check back here or call 612-788-2444 for the specific date.

Minnesota Spay Neuter Assistance Program provides 100% of the funding and support for the first fully equipped veterinary clinic on wheels to deliver high-quality spay and neuter services for animals belonging to shelters, rescues and low-income pet owners in Minnesota. We can reach neighborhoods where cost, transportation, or the absence of veterinary services is an obstacle to obtaining animal health care and spay-neuter services.

4th Saturday of each month, 5:30 p.m. at 724 Lowry Ave NE
(3rd Saturday during some holiday months, 5th Saturday some months)
Everyone is welcome - come, meet and eat with your neighbors! Would you like to volunteer to cook, greet, serve or clean up at a Community Dinner? If so, contact Jennifer Schultz at (612) 788-2444 or jennifer@necommunity.net.
